Math Placement Procedure

Welcome Back!

We’re excited that you’re interested in joining one of our school’s self-paced enrichment opportunities.  We put together a list of math problems and tutorial videos from the website Deltamath.com that will help you get ready for your upcoming math course.  Although you will not earn a letter grade/credit for participating in this enrichment opportunity, we are certain you will gain the skills you need to be better prepared for your upcoming course. 

How do I create a Delta Math Account? 

Below you will find directions on how to create and log in to Delta Math.  Additionally, here’s a video tutorial and written instructions to help you get signed up.  

What is my Teacher Code?  

Students attending the following high school will link their account to a teacher using the corresponding code below.

Which period/course should I sign up for?  

When signing up, it’s vital that you sign up for the correct period/course.  See the list to determine which Delta Math period/course you will enroll in.

• Taking Foundations of Algebra,  Math 1, Math 1A or Math 1B in the fall, select “Summer Enrichment Pre-Math 1” 
• Taking Math 2/2H in the fall, select “Summer Enrichment Pre-Math 2”  
• Taking Math 3/3H/3App in the fall, select “Summer Enrichment Pre-Math 3”  
• Taking Precalculus (H/CP) in the fall, select “Summer Enrichment Pre-Precalculus”  

How do I get help in Delta Math? 

Within Delta Math, there are a few ways to get help with the math.  For each skill, there is a video that walks you through how to do the problem type.  Second, you can just click “Show Example” to see how to solve a similar problem.  Third, you can view how to solve the problem step-by-step by pressing “Show solution.”

1. Go to www.deltamath.com
2. Click “Create New Account”
3. Enter your information, your email (school email preferred), an a password you will remember

1. Enter the Teacher Code: Teacher Codes are below

1. Select Period/Course: 
   1. “Summer Enrichment Pre-Math 1”
   2. “Summer Enrichment Pre-Math 2”
   3. “Summer Enrichment Pre-Math 3”
   4. “Summer Enrichment Pre-Precalculus
2. Login to Delta Math.  Click on “Assignments” in the top left corner to get started on the problems.  
3. Forgot your password? Select forgot password. An email will be sent to you to reset your password.

Have an existing Delta Math Account? Add a teacher. Here’s how.

1. Log-in to your account. 
2. Click “Tools” in the upper right corner, then click “Manage Login and Courses”.
3. Click “Add Teacher or Access Code” and enter teacher code
